During the evening, you'll have the opportunity to experience beautiful live music and rapé, a traditional South American medicine made from natural tobacco. It is known for helping us ground deeply, open our subtle perceptions, and connect with the greater whole. Often called "the medicine of the tree," it invites introspection, balance, and a profound sense of rootedness, expanding between earth and sky.

The Huni Kuin are an Indigenous people who live in the Amazon rainforest of Brazil. Through their mission of preserving their ancestral traditions and helping to bring harmony back to humanity, we are honored to welcome them to the nature surrounding Berlin for a deep immersion from July 10th to 12th, 2026.

To help you discover this beautiful and magical work, I asked a few questions to Shannon Heenan, with whom I'm co-organizing the upcoming Huni Kuin ceremonies and events in Berlin.

Can you tell us a little about your own journey with the Huni Kuin? What have the Huni Kuin elders taught you that could never be learned from books?

Shane Huni Kuin and his family have mirrored me an infinite number of teachings. Above all, Shane has reminded me to always stay connected to my heart, in deep humility and gratitude, to trust life, and to unlearn the mental conditioning that creates limiting beliefs. In their own language, communicating without words most of the time, Shane and his family have shown me that I am my own teacher, that I already have all the tools within me to reach my highest potential, and that I can always choose to nourish love instead of separation. They have helped me become stronger in both my feminine and my masculine, to expand my consciousness, and to see through the veils of illusion. Shane has given me a lot of trust and responsibilities before I believed in myself, and through these experiences, I slowly—and at the same time very quickly—learned to become my own greatest ally. For Myself, for the Collective, for the Great Mystery, and for Mother Earth.

What can participants learn simply by being in the presence of the Huni Kuin elders?

The Indigenous carry a very strong frequency of love and joy, respect and peace. They are deeply connected to nature, and I believe they are the bridge that helps us come back to our bodies, to grounding, and to our hearts. I believe the Indigenous are guides. They show us an example of an embodied way of living, holding a strong balance between the invisible world and the material realm.

What do you believe people are truly seeking when they feel called to gatherings like these? 

I believe people are truly seeking community and a deeper sense of life. I think we live in a world of separation, where individualism, consumerism, and power dynamics have taken over so much space and gained so much control over us. We have lost our deep connection and harmony with nature. We have forgotten how to dialogue with the invisible and instead nourish so much suffering, forgetting that we are all connected and that we all come from the same source. I believe these gatherings are portals to reconnect with our essence, to reconnect with community, love, and joy, and to learn how to live our lives more fully, to heal what no longer serves us, and to regain our strength so we can feel whole again.

If this gathering had one core intention, what would it be?

To remember our authentic selves, reconnect with our hearts and with what truly matters in life, and remember why we came here on Earth; to detach from the illusion of separation and unite together on this path.

If someone reading this feels a quiet call in their heart, what would you like them to know?

Trust your intuition, follow the call, you are on the right path, life is beautiful when you allow your heart to feel it and guide you. We are looking forward to create this sacred space together, with so much care, presence and devotion to the mission.
